I NEARLY CONVINCED MYSELF, YESTERDAY, THAT IT WAS TOO LATE TO GO TO THE FITNESS CENTER.  IT WAS GETTING DARK...I DIDN'T 'FEEL' LIKE IT...WHEN MY SUPPORT SYSTEM (I'LL GET TO THEM LATER/09) INSISTED THAT I HAD MADE A COMMITTMENT...AND NEEDED TO GO.  SO FOR 35 MINUTES I DID AEROBIC EXERCISE IN A NEARLY EMPTY EXERCISE ROOM....FROM 6:25 TO 7:00 PM.  I HAVE FOUND THAT THE LONGER YOU POSTPONE SOMETHING...THE HARDER IT GETS!  REALIZING THAT I AM MORE OF A 'MORNING' PERSON THAN AN 'EVENING' PERSON....I DOUBT THAT I WILL CONTINUE WITH THOSE 'EVENING' SESSIONS.  IT DID FEEL GOOD THAT I DID NOT DISAPPOINT MYSELF...STAYED WITH THE PROGRAM...AND FINISHED WHAT I HAVE INTENDED TO ACCOMPLISH!  I STOOD 'BY MY WORD'...AND I AM RELIEVED AND PROUD THAT I DID.  SUPPORT IS ESSENTIAL.  THIS IS A TEAM EFFORT AND MY CLOSEST FRIENDS NEED TO BE ON BOARD.  MY CHOICES FOR FOOD HAVE CHANGED DRAMATICALLY!  I HAVE A HUGE JAR OF 3 BEAN SALAD, ARTICHOKE HEARTS, CAULIFLOWER, BROCCOLI,CARROTS, CABBAGE,YOGURT, APPLES, ORANGES, BANANAS, BLUEBERRIES, FLAX, SKIM MILK HAVE TAKEN THE PLACE OF 2%, COOKIES, SNICKERS, ICE CREAM CONES ETC.  I NOW FIND HEALTHY TRAIL MIX FOR A SMALL SNACK
AND ....'BETTER THAN SLICED BREAD'...OROWEAT HAS COME UP WITH SANDWICH THINS THAT ARE MULTI GRAIN (11 GRAMS WHOLE GRAIN..5 GRAMS FIBER AND ONLY 100 CALORIES, EACH) AND ARE PERFECT FOR ME WHEN I GET THOSE TURKEY SANDWICHES..(WITH LETTUCE AND HONEY MUSTARD...AND NO....YES, NO...MAYO!!)  THEY HAD THESE AT COSTCO SO I HAVE PLENTY IN THE FREEZER.  LIKE MY JEWELRY...I NEVER MEASURE...BUT I FIND THAT EATING THIS HEALTHY....I TEND TO EAT LESS.  ALSO 2 SNACKS DURING THE DAY.  I HAVE FOUND....JUST LIKE A YARD SALE...IF THERE WAS A COOKIE OR CANDY BAR CLOSE BY...I WOULD FIND IT! (AND EAT IT! ) NOW...WHEN THEY AREN'T HERE
I SEEM TO HAVE NO PROBLEM!.. I WATCHED DR 0Z THE OTHER NIGHT AND HE STRESSED THESE: BLUEBERRIES (ALL BERRIES) CONTAIN ALLISON (NOT SPELLED RIGHT BUT YOU MIGHT REMEMBER IT IF YOU THINK OF A GIRL'S NAME) YOGURT...BROCCOLI....FLAX...ALMONDS...BEANS.  SO I HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING....MY...'B'....HEALTHY EATING:  1. BREAKFAST....2.BLUEBERRIES....3.BEANS..4. BANANAS...5. BROCCOLI.  SO SIMPLE...YET SO EASY TO DO!  (BEFORE YOU RUSH OUT THAT DOOR IN THE MORNING A WORD...FOR YOU.  BREAKFAST...SEPARATE IT AND IT TELLS YOU WHY IT IS SO NECESSARY..BREAK....(THE) FAST!  IF YOU HAVE HAD AROUND 8 HOURS OF SLEEP (LIKE YOU NEED)..HAVE NOT HAD ANYTHING TO EAT AFTER 8 PM...IT HAS BEEN 12 HOURS SINCE YOU HAVE HAD ANY FUEL IN YOUR BODY.  TAKE A COUPLE MINUTES WITH A YOGURT, SLIVERED ALMONDS, AND FLAX MIXED IN...AND A HANDFUL OF BERRIES! )ENERGY BAR?  THE BODY ....NEEDS...SOME FUEL, EARLY IN THE MORNING, TO KEEP UP WITH ALL THOSE FUN THINGS YOU ARE ABOUT TO DO!  (REMEMBER...IF YOU ONLY PUT $5 OF GAS IN YOUR CAR....YOU WON'T GO...VERY FAR!)  WHY NOT FILL UP THE GAS TANK (YOUR BODY)...AND GO FOR A LONG RIDE! (YOUR LIFE) YOU CERTAINLY DESERVE IT!...(ME..TOO!)   AFTER STARTING OFF THIS SUNDAY WITH EIGHT HOURS OF SLEEP...JOEL..7:30..I AM INSPIRED AND OFF TO A GOOD START AFTER MY CORN FLAKES..SKIM MILK...1/2 BANANA.  JUST IN TIME FOR MY SNACK...FIBER ONE CHEWY BAR (OATS AND CHOCOLATE!)  AND LAST...SAVE FOR LATER...BUT CERTAINLY.....WHAT WE HAVE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR... DARK CHOCOLATE!!! (NOT THE WHOLE BAG OR BOX....NOT MILK CHOCOLATE)....JUST ONE ....DARK...DOVE!  KEEP THESE IN THE FREEZER AND THEN YOU CAN ENJOY THEM...VERY SLOWLY...A 'SPECIAL' TREAT...FOR A DAY FILLED WITH INSPIRATION...HEALTHY FOOD....EXERCISE (WALKING IS EXCELLENT...WE DO HAVE LEGS (WHY NOT USE THEM!)  I WILL BE TESTING OUT THE AEROBIC EXERCISE THAT I DO.  I HAVE PLAYED LOTS OF TENNIS...IT IS GOOD FOR ME...BUT IT ISN'T AEROBIC.(CONTINUOUS)  I STILL SEE THAT HURDLE...IN THE FAR DISTANCE.  I AM ON THE RIGHT TRACK...I JUST HAVE TO KEEP MOVING!  CE
